2024 Annual Appeal

Our foundation has had a great year thanks to donors like you. In 2024, we welcomed new faces in our community here in New York City and on our own staff. We brought more kids than ever before to camp, and cemented our keystone event, Harold Hunter Weekend, as the preeminent skating celebration on the East Coast. We helped over 200 children and young adults carve brighter futures while learning how to skate better. It’s been a pretty exciting time, and we couldn’t have done it without you, our supporters and friends. Thank you.

Today we're launching our end of year campaign. We’re shooting for $30k in 30 days, leading up to and including Giving Tuesday on December 3rd. And we’ve got some extra special merch lined up for our donors - give a little, get something cool. Give a lot, get something legendary. Every bit helps.*

Now, as we turn the page to 2025, we’re looking to reach even more kids in need. We’re planning on enhancing our coaching strategies to bring at-risk communities into our programs, including girls, LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals, and skaters of color. We’re looking to empower them with skills, resources, and opportunities that positively contribute to their personal and professional development. And we’re going to keep talking about Harold, his journey, and his faith in the power of skateboarding to transform lives.
